Search is on for a new editor

LSN Media is searching for a new editor to head up one of its regional titles, following the departure of Aylia Fox.

Aylia had edited Luton on Sunday for two-and-a-half years, and was also responsible for Dunstable on Sunday.

She had previously worked for the News of the World.

LSN Media editorial director and Bedfordshire on Sunday editor Steve Lowe said Aylia’s next move is unclear, but it had been her decision to leave and she had left on good terms.

He said: “There is no bad been feeling between Aylia and the company or me personally. We are sorry to see her go.”

Luton on Sunday deputy editor Gaynor Selby has stepped in as acting editor until a successor is appointed.

Founded in 1977, LSN Media – previously known as Local Sunday Newspapers – is an independent regional publisher, which currently owns seven newspapers in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

As well as Luton on Sunday, Dunstable on Sunday and Bedfordshire on Sunday (North and Midlands), it also publishes Hertfordshire on Sunday, Leighton Buzzard on Sunday and the MK News which is published on a Wednesday.
