Scottish titles team up for recruitment

A new recruitment website powered by some of Scotland’s biggest newspaper titles has gone online.

scotcareers.co.uk will enable thousands of users to find their dream job at the click of a mouse.

The new site will feature a wide range of vacancies and training opportunities from all sectors of the Scottish economy.

It will also feature employment news, events and updates on major developments offering recruitment opportunities.

The new website is a joint venture by over 40 prominent Trinity Mirror titles in Scotland including the Daily Record, Sunday Mail, and Scottish and Universal Newspapers’ stable of local paid-for and free newspapers.

The S&UN titles include the Hamilton Advertiser, Ayrshire Post, Perthshire Advertiser, Stirling Observer, Dumfries and Galloway Standard, as well as titles in Dumbarton, West Lothian and the Paisley Daily Express.

The site will also draw on the pulling power of specialist publications like Scottish Recruitment and Scottish Business Insider, as well as the Metro and Glaswegian titles.

Denise West, advertisement director of the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail said: “The new site will be totally interactive and will give job seekers thousands of vacancies to choose from.

“We are bringing together Scotland’s biggest daily and weekly titles, as well as top specialist publications to provide an unrivalled online employment service.”
