A publishing company run by award-winning journalist John Dean has changed its website address.

John, (39), who worked for papers including Derby Evening Telegraph,Lincolnshire Echo, Hull Daily Mail, Gloucester Citizen and The NorthernEcho, is now a freelance journalist specialising in the environment, business particularly e-commerce and law and order.

He also runs the Darlington-based publishing firm Scarsdale Books (Publishing Services) which specialises in children’s books and also contract publishing of books, newsletters, brochures and leaflets.

The new website address is www.scarsdalebooks.co.uk which includes details of its Kids’ Bookshelf, where visitors can find the publisher’s children’s books.

John Dean is an award-winning journalist of twenty years’ standing. The freelance agency in which he is a joint partner – with Frances Griss – was established in September 1996.

In May 1998 he was named North-East Freelance Journalist of the Year for a portfolio of work which included environmental and law and order affairs.

In May 1999 he was named North-East Environmental Reporter of the Year and again in May 2000.
