Romantic reader will make banner headlines

The Bristol Evening Post is giving one romantic reader the chance to pop the question in style on St Valentine’s Day and literally shout their feelings from the rooftops.

For the newspaper is currently searching for the most romantic man or woman in Bristol who wants to make banner headline news on the most romantic day of the year.

To be in with a chance of having their marriage proposal hoisted high across the Evening Post’s Temple Way headquarters, readers must write in and tell the paper why they want to spend the rest of their life with that special person.

A selection of the entries will published in the paper on Friday, February 14, and the most romantic entrant will get their “Will you marry me ……? ” message displayed high up on the Evening Post’s building for all to see.

The winning couple pair will then be invited to the paper’s offices for a glass of champagne and feature in the following day’s newspaper with the answer to the proposal.
