Readers' views are sought

Readers of Taunton-based Newsquest titles are being surveyed on a number of topical issues.

The Bridgwater Mercury is asking readers to vote on whether a 40ft willow sculpture alongside the M5 motorway – recently destroyed by arsonists – should be re-constructed.

The Somerset County Gazette is running a foot-and-mouth phone poll – asking whether readers think non-infected animals should be culled after theTaunton area suffered its first outbreak last week.

And the Yeovil Express wants readers to make their choice of the new managerfor Yeovil Town Football Club following the resignation of Colin Addison.
