Scottish Media Group has reported record half-year profits.
The media company publishes three newspapers – The Herald, the Sunday Herald and the Evening Times – but also has interests in television, radio, magazines and advertising.
Pre-tax profits for the six months to June was £30 million – 25% higher than thecompany’s December figure – while turnover rose 37% to £152.7 million.
