Newspaper magnate, Freddie Johnston, is reported to be on the move – relocating his home south to Shropshire.
He retired last year as the chairman of the 200-title Johnston Press empire after 27 years at the helm and plans to sell his £600,000-plus property in Edinburgh and move to Ludlow, while retaining a small property in the Scottish capital.

A campaign calling for urgent action on seatbelt laws has been launched by the Nottingham Evening Post.
The paper is supporting the family of a pensioner killed in a coach crash, who was not wearing a seatbelt due to a legal loophole which means that although it is the law to have seat belts fitted, passengers do not have to wear them.


Rebekah Gunn, the Skegness Standard’s chief reporter, was a damsel in distress when she put herself forward to be rescued by firefighters in a mock-up car crash.
She said: “It is easy to understand why some people panic. I feel safe in the knowledge that should I need the help of the fire brigade for real I will be in safe hands.”
