There’s a new look to the Tamworth Herald – put into place after months of research into what the readers want.
The content remains top of the list of elements that make up the paper.
But editor Sam Holliday said that with the substance comes style.
He said staff were very conscious of the fact the paper must be easy to read, and have a look and feel that appeals to readers.
He said: “What we have tried to create is a cleaner, bolder and more stylish Herald where the type faces make it easier for people to read and the page design makes it easier for them to find what they are looking for.
“Some of the changes may only be small but we believe they will all help to enhance the enjoyment of reading the newspaper.
“The Herald is a real local success story.
“Our circulation is on the up, our campaigns have won national awards and now we have a new look of which we are proud.”
