Westcountry Publications Limited has appointed a new finance director.

Paul Gale will take up the post, based in Devon, at the company which publishes the Western Morning News, Exeter Express & Echo, Plymouth Evening Herald and Torquay Herald Express.

He was previously the finance and operations director of Cornwall and Devon Media Limited, publishers of The West Briton.

Following Paul’s departure from Cornwall and Devon Media, David Lean, the company’s marketing director, becomes finance and marketing director.

Norma Stevens, who was commercial operations director, takes on the wider role of operations director.
