More editions online as Herts web presence grows

Three weekly newspapers now have an online presence thanks to a relaunch of the Archant website www.herts24.co.uk.

For the first time, the East Herts Herald, including the Harlow Herald, has its news and features online, and readers can also now log on to the Royston Crow, on its stand-alone website.

It has taken two months of intensive redesign to give www.herts24.co.uk a total of six online versions of its newspapers from the company’s Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire patch.

Web editor Sam Newby-Ricci said: “We have made a conscious effort to ensure that the content of www.herts24.co.uk reflects the quality and commitment that is so evident in the print versions we represent.

“Getting the East Herts Herald into the stable as well as moving the Royston Crow into our Hertfordshire package was the final piece of our web jigsaw in place.

“We now have to concentrate on ensuring that the traffic increases by working hand-in-hand with our newspapers to bring the very best service possible to our online users.”

www.herts24.co.uk consists of the following brands: www.whtimes.co.uk; www.stevenageherald.co.uk;
www.hertsad.co.uk; www.roystoncrow.co.uk;
