The media law update day, at which Peter Carter-Ruck was to have been the chief speaker, has been postponed.
The day was organised by the National Union of Journalists and The Media Training Centre to update journalists and anyone concerned with publishing and the media on the raft of new laws, either just passed or just coming into effect.
Terry Wardle, of The Media Training Centre said: “We regret that due to circumstances beyond our control the Law Update day planned for 18 November has had to be postponed.
“Details on the re-arranged date will follow as soon as possible.”
