South Wales Argus assistant editor Nicole Garnon has been appointed reader relations manager.

It will be Nicole’s job to try to resolve editorial complaints promptly and efficiently.

Editor Gerry Keighley said: “Although we hate to make mistakes we, in common with all news media, sometimes get things wrong. And we know how frustrating it can be when you are trying to get hold of the right person to put them right.

“Sometimes, we may have to agree to differ, but at least you can make your point and be dealt with sympathetically and efficiently.”
