New, clearer CCTV pictures of potentially vital witnesses in a brutal rape case have been released to the Peterborough Evening Telegraph.

More than 100 original camera stills of people police wanted to contact about the attack were published last month and most of those have now come forward.

But in a bid to identify the remaining 30 people, police have issued enhanced images in the hope of tracing anyone who may have useful information.

It is now more than two months since a 16-year-old girl was attacked after visiting a shop in Peterborough.

All of the CCTV stills were taken from the shop’s security camera in the minutes before and after the attack.
