The news in Stratford is about to take to the airwaves when the editor of the Stratford Standard, Chris Smith, starts a slot on FM102 The Bear.

The fortnightly ‘Hold the Front Page’ slot (good name!) will give listeners a round-up of some of the best and breaking stories of the week during the breakfast show.

Chris said: “It’s great to have teamed up with The Bear and I am looking forward to giving our readers a sneak preview to what they can expect when they get their copy of The Standard.

“I hope everyone who enjoys reading our paper will also be able to tune in and listen to us on the radio every other Friday morning.”
