Death of a talented photographer

Popular South Wales Evening Post photographer Mark Entwistle has died, aged 37, after a short illness.

He joined the Post four years ago and became well-known in the area, taking photos of thousands of people and events across South West Wales.

He joined the department as a freelance and quickly settled into his team role.

Post editor George Edwards said: “Mark was a delightful man who loved his job and did it very well. We will all miss him greatly.”

He said Mark’s talents were obvious to all – except Mark himself, who was very modest.

Mark, whose lived at Llanelli, leaves his wife, Susan, and children Cerys, aged two, Adam, (seven), and Nathan (15).
