A campaign to celebrate the best of Bedford is being launched by the Times and Citizen.

The paper has started its Pride in Bedford campaign with a nine-page special focusing on the best aspects of the county.

And over the next few months, the paper is promising to prioritise good news happening in the region and celebrate the county’s unsung heroes.

To get the campaign going, the Times and Citizen has issued a plea for readers to get involved.

It said: “Find out what you can do to help. Find out how together you can achieve whatever you want to.”

And pupils from St Gregory’s Middle School in Biddenham have already done just that.

They’re celebrating after receiving a shining Ofsted report which praised the school for raising standards.
