Mail wants Justice for Ross

An Oxford paper is trying to win justice for a nine-year-old boy who was left to die by the driver of a stolen car.

Justice for Ross was launched by the Oxford Mail following the death of local lad Ross Doyle.

Ross was walking back to his home in Blackbird Leys one evening last December when he was hit by a stolen car and left to die.

No-one has been brought to justice for the crime despite Thames Valley Police offering £10,000 for information leading to conviction.

So the Oxford Mail has organised a poster campaign to ensure that the case remains in the public eye.

Reporter Mark Prissell said: “We contacted the police to tell them what we were going to do and they were more than happy for us to get involved.”

The posters will be placed at strategic points around Oxford, including Blackbird Leys where Ross died.
