Holey row gets sorted

The South Wales Evening Post has reported a good response to its campaign to eliminate potholes from the roads.

The Get It Sorted campaign was launched in an attempt to allow local residents to get the voices heard.

Since the start of this month, the newspaper has been inundated with calls and the total of identified hotspots has now reached 25. These complaints have been forwarded to Neath Port Talbot Council.

It is hoped that the council will take action to solve the problem, but residents are concerned that money is instead being spent on home-improvements in the area.

South Wales Evening Post will continue to check the progress of the campaign whilst it forwards readers’ complaints.
