The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald has launched a campaign to raise money for a new ambulance in the county.

The campaign, in conjunction with Wiltshire St John Ambulance, comes after three new Crusader ambulances were bought through donations. But there are still 11 more to buy and the newspaper is urging readers to donate money to buy the £40,000 ambulances.

They are also asking people to tell them of any help they’ve received from St John so that readers are aware of the work the charity does.

People in the county have been asked to donate any money they can, be it through a fundraising event or out of their own pocket.
