The chief executive of Camelot Plc, Dianne Thompson, is to be the guest of honour at the Newspaper Society Annual Lunch next month.

The event, in the Grand Ballroom at London’s Hilton Hotel, will also host presentations on the Society’s activities and key industry issues.

The annual meeting will include presentations by Lord Borrie QC, chairman of ASA, Trinity Mirror group chief executive Philip Graf, and Nick Higham, BBC media correspondent.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 17, at 1pm, after the AGM at 10am.

Newspaper Society director David Newell said: “I do hope that you will be able to join us on May 17 and bring along colleagues and guests to this annual event for the whole regional and local newspaper industry.

“The annual lunch promotes the significance of our industry to an important and influential audience.”
