A one-day practical law seminar for editors is to be hosted by the National Council for the Training of Journalists on November 10.

The event, Crime and the Courts, conducted by Walter Greenwood and Stuart Patrick, will look at the latest developments in day-to-day newsroom use of law.

Topics for the day include libel and contempt; crime and courts, the Human Rights Act and the reporting of anti-social behaviour orders.

The event is aimed at editors and their executives and takes place in London. It costs £217.37, including VAT and lunch.
