Bath title boosts its coverage

The Bath Chronicle has unveiled a bigger and better newspaper to its readers, with the introduction of several new pages and supplements.

The title is one of the smallest evening newspapers in the country – but it says it ‘thinks big’.

It now has an additonal eight pages of news, sport, listings and business coverage each weekday, and an extra eight pages to its 7Days TV listings magazine on Saturdays.

The Chronicle has also launched an eight-page Junior Sport section on Tuesdays (above) and a magazine-style supplement on Saturday’s (below), which provides a review of the previous seven days’ news, sport and features.

Bath Week is aimed at people who are not regular readers of the Chronicle, and the newspaper hopes it will help boost weekend sales and tempt them into buying the newspaper on other days too.

Chronicle editor David Gledhill said: “We already had a great product but now it’s better than ever. We think it offers unrivalled value for money.”

  • The newspaper will also shortly launch a new monthly glossy magazine, called Bath Living.
