Written about discrimination?Euro-award open for entries

Journalists from across Europe are being invited to submit articles on the issue of combating discrimination and promoting diversity in employment.

The competition is part of the European Union For Diversity. Against Discrimination campaign, which gives information and advice on European anti-discrimination policies, particularly workplace discrimination.

This is the second year the European Commission is supporting the For Diversity. Against Discrimination EU Journalist Award.

This year, for the first time, photojournalists and photographers are being encouraged to submit entries. Prizes will be awarded to three finalists in each of these two categories.

Media professionals and anti-discrimination experts will select 25 national award winners from each category, and a European Jury will then select the finalists who will win a study trip to a EU country of their choice.
