Holdthefrontpage scoops electronic publishing accolade

Holdthefrontpage and its sister sites, which include adoption-net.co.uk and toowrite.com, have scooped a prestigious title at this year’s Newspaper Society New Media Awards.

The Special Award for Innovation in Digital Publishing was awarded to our parent company Northcliffe Electronic Publishing (Midlands) at a two-day conference in York, for a selection of 10 services – including Holdthefrontpage.

Judges chose NEP (Midlands) as the winner for its commitment to develop niche products outside the usual internet publisher content.

They said it showed evidence of reaching customers beyond the traditional newspaper audience.

The winners were announced at a gala dinner by Danny Meadows-Klue, chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau, and were presented by Edwin Boorman, chairman of the Kent Messenger Group and vice-president of the Newspaper Society, and Michelle Roberts from Sun Microsystems.
