Associated Northcliffe Digital has been named Publisher Of The Year (Consumer) at the 2006 AOP online publishing awards.

The award was given to AN Digital for delivering “engaging and relevant content” across the 85 sites that make up its portfolio.

These include the ‘thisis‘ network of 30 regional newspaper companion sites, national newspaper sites such as Mail Online, classified advertising sites including SimplySwitch.com, Jobsite.co.uk, LoopyLove.com and FindaProperty.com as well as digital magazines such as ThisisMoney.co.uk and ThisisTravel.co.uk.

The network of sites reach more than 26 per cent of the UK’s online population.

AN Digital was also shortlisted for consumer editorial team (ThisisMoney.co.uk), innovation (Mailhomes.co.uk) and commercial partnership (ThisisMoney.co.uk and Experian).

Other winners included BBC Worldwide, Guardian Unlimited and Reed Business Information.
