LOGBOOKS
- 103 candidates;
- 99 passed - 96 per cent
The examiners' report:
Once again there was a high pass rate for the logbook - 96 per cent. Only four failed, all for
presentation.
Some of the faults included missing pages, original copy failing to correspond to cuttings, or
inappropriate submissions for Key Tasks.
The quality of submitted work confirms the continued commitment of trainees and trainers to
the logbook, with regular assessments clearly taking place and all training requirements
being fulfilled in the great majority of offices. This commitment was reflected when the
logbook won the East of England National Training Award 2007 earlier this autumn.
The examiners extend their thanks to all those working journalists who gave up their time to
mark logbooks and ensure their continuing success.
