Trainee journalists are being invited to write an article on the work of the European Parliament and the UK’s MEPs.
The overall winner will win a cash prize of £200 and a trip to visit a session of the European Parliament in Brussels in October.
The judging panel will be looking for stories that:
Make a link between the everyday concerns and the work of the Parliament and/or its MEPs;
Deal with issues or personalities or assess the overall role of the Parliament and MEPs;
Engage the reader and stimulate debate;
Are well researched, accurate and original.
Articles should be between 500 and 1,000 words and full rules of entry can be found here.
