NCE photography pass list

The National Council for the Training of Journalists has announced the results of its exams for press photographers and photo-journalists.

Eleven press photographers and two photo-journalists sat the National Certificate Exam on May 14.

Seven candidates passed, one gained a distinction.

The distinction was awarded to Jane Barlow of the Derby Evening Telegraph.

The others who passed were:

Press Photographers:

  • Louise Barnsley, Evesham Journal;
  • Helen Brown, Lancashire Evening Telegraph;
  • Georgina Cook, South London Press;
  • Laura Holme, Isle of Wight County Press;
  • Ed Nix, Oxford Mail.

    Photo-journalist:

  • Miriam Balfry, Stourbridge News.
