An annual showcase of graduate work, celebrating the wealth of talent and creativity among students at Falmouth College of Arts, is open to the general public this week.
People are being invited to attend the College's Media Centre to view work by students and staff from the faculty of Media and Culture.
Course demonstrations include:
BA (Hons) Journalism, demonstrating the programme's Web site, news and dissertations.PgDip Professional Writing showing bloc-online, a Webzine created by graduates as a resource for writers.BA (Hons) English with Media Studies and BA (Hons) Visual Culture showing major and minor dissertations and video presentations of dissertation work.The Broadcast department is also well represented, including work from: - PgDip Broadcast Journalism, BA (Hons) Broadcasting and PgDip Broadcast Television.
Camilla Peter, associate dean for the Faculty of Media and Culture and the organiser of this event, said: "We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to celebrate the achievements of this year's graduates from the Faculty of Media and Culture, and to view the capabilities of our new multimillion-pound Media Centre with its broadcast standard technology and world class facilities."
The show opened yesterday and runs until Saturday June 29. More information on individual show times is available at www.falmouth.ac.uk.
