The CN Group – formerly Cumbrian News Group – is based in Carlisle and has three divisions covering publishing, print and radio.

Its publishing division is responsible for a number of daily and weekly newspapers in Cumbria, Northumberland and south west Scotland.

The Group is led by chief executive Robin Burgess who is the fourth generation of his family to be involved in the business.
