Over-eating as dangerous over-smoking

Obese teenagers are just as likely to die early as smokers who have more than ten cigarettes a day.

A new Swedish study also suggests a premature death is more than twice as likely compared with normal weight youngsters while those who are obese and smoke heavily are almost five times more likely to suffer an early death.

It's all pretty grim reading so what are youth groups, schools and hospitals doing about it on your patch?

Obesity among children and teenagers has also been climbing rapidly up the political spectrum so speak to local MPs and councillors too.
