Traditional sweet becomes alternative Easter treat

Easter is nearly upon us and one chippie in Maidstone is taking a traditional treat to new culinary places.

Phil Cornford is deep frying Cadbury's Creme Eggs in batter, pushing the treats to new levels on the Richter scale of calorie-laden foods.

Why not take a walk down your High Street and see what the local cafes, restaurants and pubs are offering punters this Easter.

Perhaps a publican has a special Easter Ale or a cafe is selling its own unique 'Last Supper'.
