Press and PR photography agency United National Photographers is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The Saltaire-based agency was founded by picture editor and managing director Hamlet Mejloumian as United Northern Photographers, but has since grown and changed its name to encompass the whole of the UK in 2000.
It is now one of the UK’s largest independent providers of press and PR photography in the country, with a team of 57 experienced freelance photographers based nationwide and more than 20,000 assignments this year.
Hamlet said: "Our philosophy is very simple – we work with clients to build relationships, and add value to their organisation: our photography aims to combat 'picture fatigue'."
UNP pictures have been seen in publications worldwide, including Time magazine, Newsweek, Paris Match, National Geographic, Hello!, and the British Journal of Photography, as well as every national newspaper in the UK.
UNP stills have been used by all the major British TV networks. Corporate clients include Beetroot, Redhouselane, Geronimo, BHP, Webber Shandwick, McCann Erickson, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, Launch, Black Horse, the Department of Health and the NHS.
To celebrate, UNP has produced a commemorative mouse mat with wrist supporting gel pad to send to clients and photographers.
