The Derby Evening Telegraph has launched a new city centre photography studio to cater for readers and their families.
The paper's commercial photographic department decided to trial the opening of a new base following the closure of national photo firm Olan Mills, and is particularly aiming the new venture at children.
It will be based on the first floor of the Guildhall Market in Derby.
The portrait service is in addition to the paper's existing studio at its Meadow Road office at the edge of the city, and commercial photographic manager Carol Seal said it would allow readers to pop in and see what was available.

All the pictures will be taken by exisitng members of the commercial team, including photographer Lucy Shaw.
She said: "The studio is a welcoming, relaxing and informal place for sittings.
"And we are sure the resulting photographs will reflect that, capturing the subjects in a contemporary, natural and spontaneous way.
"The Guildhall studio is perfect because people who are shopping in town can quickly pop in and see the service that we offer."
