Beer and money on offer for best FA Cup photos

Regional press photographers covering this year's FA Cup are being invited to put their best images from the event forward for a competition run by Carlsberg - with a £1,500 top prize.

Crates of Carlsberg are also on offer as organisers search for the best 'photo of the round' from any FA Cup tie, from the third round onwards.

The winner of each round will receive five crates of Carlsberg and the photo will be posted on the Carlsberg Press Room website.

Prior to the Cup Final, all the winners will be invited to an event where their work will be exhibited and a final winner will be named FA Cup Photographer of The Year.

Organisers say they are particularly looking for images which capture the magic and passion of The FA Cup - a giant killing, spectacular goal or a shot of the crowd and, whilst not a criteria, a little Carlsberg branding will help!

For information about how to enter, contact John Parker at M&C Saatchi Sport and Entertainment at johnp@mcsaatchi.com or Shervin Behzadi at shervinb@mcsaatchi.com

  • Carlsberg are also looking for amateur photographers to submit their pictures of their Cup match day, and are offering tickets to the FA Cup Final, a years supply of Carlsberg and £250 to the overall winner.

Organisers are looking for pictures taken outside the ground, perhaps of a group of friends on their journey to the match or celebrating in the pub afterwards. For more details go to www.carlsberg.co.uk/faphoto
