Marylebone Cricket Club is to once again award a scholarship to a young photographer.
The successful candidate will spend a year covering the club, taking pictures for MCC publications and the Lord's website and receiving up to £7,500 worth of financial support.
They will also be mentored by Graham Morris, one of the world's top cricket photographers, and have access to fixtures at Lord's and matches played across the UK by the club's men's and women's teams.
In addition the successful candidate many get the chance to join one of the five overseas tours to be undertaken by MCC teams next year.
Applicants for the MCC Young Cricket Photographer 2007 should be aged between 20 and 29 and have an interest in cricket, a talent for action and creative photography and access to a good quality digital camera.
The closing date for applications is February 12, and the winner will take up their position in mid-April, for MCC v Champion County (Sussex) at Lord's.
Overall, they will be required to cover around 25 days' cricket during the 2007 season.
