Former Evening Times man captures naked photoshoot

A former regional press photographer has captured a host of volunteers on film in a naked art event in Glasgow.

Alistair Devine, who began his career at the Evening Times in Glasgow, was on hand for the photoshoot which saw 34 strangers bare all and pose in a variety of bar-room scenes.

The event was billed as Scotland's first mass-paticipation naked art event, and emulated the work of Spencer Tunick, who has photographed hundreds of naked people in cities around the world.

Volunteers took part in a dress rehearsal wearing bath robes before stripping for the shoot.

The photoshoot was organised to promote the opening of new Glasgow bar Bobar, and a portrait taken by Alistair will be displayed there.

After four years at the Evening Times, Alistair spent five years at The Herald before joining the Daily Record.

He now works as a freelance for various newspapers and magazines, and has done photoshoots with celebrities such as Sophia Loren, Ewan McGregor, Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John and Sir Cliff Richard.
