Oxford Mail photographer Yuri Anderegg has snapped up two awards in a prestigious competition open to the world's best photographers.
Yuri won two gold medals in the International Trierenberg Super Circuit awards, one in the portrait category with a photograph entitled Soul Eater and the second in the panorama category with Saturn Eclipse.

The photographer, (35), said: "I am very, very pleased. I have entered this competition a few times before and been successful in smaller categories but never won major awards like this.
"Thousands of professional photographers worldwide enter and only a fraction of these are accepted and winners are chosen from those.
"This is the biggest and most prestigious photography competition in the world. It's fantastic."

Yuri, who lives in Abingdon, will now travel to Linz, Austria, in October for a glitzy awards ceremony attended by the photography world's great and good.
The awards are organised by the International Federation of Photographic Art and the Photographic Society of America.
He added: "I am looking forward to mixing with the other award winners, it will be a very exciting opportunity to meet the best of the best."
The winning photographs were taken as part of a fine art exhibition.
