Tributes paid to popular freelance photographer

Tributes have been paid to a popular North Wales freelance photographer following his sudden death.

Hywel Hughes, (67), worked for various newspapers throughout the region.

He was born in Gaerwen on Anglesey, and after stints with the Ministry of Defence and Lairds in Beaumaris, cultivated an interest in photography before turning professional.
