To celebrate the honour of being crowned UK Weekly Newspaper of the Year in last year's Newspaper Society awards, The Wokingham Times series will be holding an exhibition of photographic images taken during its award-winning year.

The exhibition, sponsored by Snappy Snaps in Wokingham, will feature images taken by staff photographers Andrew Batt and Claire Brand.

From fashion to food and from schools to sport, the best 30 images from more than 2,000 assignments will be displayed in The Atrium at South Hill Park in Ringmead, Bracknell.

Chief photographer Andrew Batt said: "I hope this showcase of our favourite images will provide an insight into the variety of assignments we undertake, and underline the important part that photography plays within a newspaper."

The exhibition takes place from Sunday, May 15 until Sunday, June 26.

It is open from 9am until 11pm from Monday until Saturday, from 11am until 10.30pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
