Somerset photographer Will Nicol is about to walk for charity, completing a 630-mile route which he first began 24 years ago.
The 55-year-old, who works for the Somerset Standard and Somerset Guardian, is planning to walk the final part of the South West Coast Path next month.
He'll earn sponsorship money along the way for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Will (below) first began walking the route from Poole Harbour to Minehead in Somerset - the longest National Trail in Britain - in 1980, and never intended to go the whole distance.
But over the years he has gradually made his way along the coast around Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, and has now set himself the task of walking the final 120 miles from Bude to Minehead.
He said: "Work and family commitments make 24 years seem a long time, but actual walking days amount to only 40.
"During those days, I have encountered high winds, rain, sleet and snow, as well as glorious days of sun.
"As everyone who has ever walked or strolled along these paths knows, nothing can detract from the beauty of this rugged coast."
He'll set off on June 13, when a chauffeur-driven limousine - organised by a local funeral company - will run him to his starting point in Bude.
He hopes to compete the trek on June 26, when he will be greeted by friends and family for a celebration party.
