'Credit where credit is due' on images

Image suppliers are campaigning to push newspaper editors to credit the photographs they print.

The campaign will be highlighted at the Picture Buyer's Fair in London on May 12 and 13, where more than 160 image and footage libraries will be exhibiting.

The event is also hosting the Credit Where Credit is Due Campaign, and the award will be presented to the picture editor who demonstrates the best use of credits.

Baroness Busocombe, opposition spokesperson for Legal Affairs and Culture, Media and Sport will present the award at the end of the first day.

The event will offer some of the best image and film collections from over 160 leading suppliers, with more that 20 per cent exhibiting at the show for the first time.

There is also the chance to attend free seminars by leading industry professionals.
