Photojournalist Lee Karen Stowe is inspiring children to follow in her footsteps by teaming up with an education project to run thought-provoking exhibitions.
Lee (left) has travelled the world doing her job and set up the Travel I've Seen display as part of an out-of-hours learning module in Hull.
She is a former feature writer for the Hull Daily Mail and left her job in 1995 to pursue a freelance career.
Lee said the module would help children to think beyond their own environment.
She said: "There were three pictures they zoomed in on. One was a bear caged in a zoo in Tibet, another was of Romanian orphans, and another of a man taking a photograph of a glacier in Argentina.
"They either emphathised with the subject of the photograph, or wanted to be the person taking it."
