Swift joins picture team at CIN

The Tamworth Herald's award-winning photographic team is welcoming new member, Tony Swift - who has more than 25 years' experience behind the lens.

He began his career as an office junior at the Derby Evening Telegraph, where his interest in photography grew.

He became a professional photographer and spent nine years at the Tamworth Times before joining its rival, the Herald.

Away from work, he lists among his hobbies… photography.

Meanwhile, Herald snapper Paul Barber has been promoted to deputy chief photographer in the Herald's parent company, Central Independent Newspapers.

He will continue to take pictures but is now also part of the management team.
