A collection of images taken by a Lincolnshire Echo photographer, on a recent visit to Afghanistan, have gone on display.
Veronique de Viguerie travelled to the Asian country together with reporter Ben Rooth for an in-depth six-part series for the newspaper.
While there, the pair visited Lincolnshire-based members of the Royal Anglian Regiment and also paid a visit to Masar E Sharif in the northern part of the country.
Now some of Veronique's most striking images from the trip have gone on display at Hari Kumar's restaurant in Lincoln.

Veronique said: "The trip was a visual treat from start to finish.
"The people who live there have the most astonishing smiles and wonderful eyes. Also, the colours are so vibrant.
"This could be because there is so much dust and debris everywhere that when you do see colours they take on their own distinctive vibrancy.
"Some of the photos are portraits and others are landscapes.
"I hope that all of them go some way towards capturing the spirit of Afghanistan and the people who live there."
The exhibition is now open and will run until July 14.
