Royal credentials for photographic team

A pair of press photographers with royal connections renewed their credentials this week with the series of pictures of Prince Harry at Eton.

It was Press Association photographer Kirsty Wigglesworth's work splashed all over the local and national press this week, as the series of pictures was taken to mark the Prince's last week at the college.

Her boyfriend, former Bristol Evening Post photographer Toby Melville, was the man responsible for the famous gap-year photographs of Prince William in South America.

His pictures, taken when he too worked at PA, showed the young Prince on a building site, cleaning a toilet and laughing with local children.

Toby now works for Reuters and during his time at the Post was named Sports Photographer of the Year 1996 and scooped the BT News Photographer of the Year for the West of England the following year.
