'Digital war' gives platform for frontline Gulf pictures

The Western Daily Press is showcasing the work of its photographer Jon Mills, who is in the Gulf with 42 Commando.

Jon is there with Daily Press reporter Richard Edwards as part of the Regional Press Corps.

They have already filed their first reports and pictures, and will be at the forefront of military operations for the duration of the campaign.

Representatives from other member newspapers of the Press Corps are also reporting back from the Gulf.

Jon's work is on display at the Western Daily Press website in the Gulf War module.

The development of the 'digital age' means they can be uploaded almost as soon as they are filed from the battle zone.

Jon and Richard have been filing copy and images from the conflict which can then be used by the regional press in the UK to keep their readers abreast of the latest developments.
