Press photographer Phil Walter couldn't believe his luck when England's Ashley Giles came to sit on the next table to him at a restuarant in Adelaide.
Phil, who works for the Midlands-based EMPICS agency, had already called in to the office to say that the "breaking" story was that Ashley had broken his wrist in the day's nets session - and added to the England cricket team's list of injured players for the Second Test.
However, Phil and all the other photographers had not seen the incident or got a picture of Ashley that day.
New Zealander Phil, (27), had gone out for dinner with some colleagues - and was just tucking in when Ashley came to sit on the next table.
His three colleagues kept Ashley talking while Phil raced off to his room to get his cameras.
Phil said: "It's pretty hard getting something different from a tour like this - there's so many photographers and limited access to players. When Ashley sat down at dinner straight after we heard the news, we couldn't believe our luck - and it was great that the other photographers helped out by keeping him talking."

The pictures were published in the majority of national newspapers the next day.
It must pay to dine at good restaurants…
