A picture taken by a photographer at The Argus, Brighton, is to be used as part of national advertising campaign.
Sarah Bourne's picture of 101-year-old Lily Newman will adorn billboards across the country to promote charity Help the Aged's website and promote an anti-ageism message.
The photograph (below), taken by Sarah last year, shows Lily surfing the web and sending a thank-you email to the Queen for her 100th birthday telegram.
Help the Aged organisers spotted the photo on display at the charity's summer exhibition at the Royal Academy in July and decided it was just what they were looking for.

The picture will be used on all the charity's posters and adverts for the relaunch of its website in October.
Sarah, who took the picture of Lily at the St John's Centre in Hove, where she had been taking part in internet classes, said: "I saw the image of Lily at the computer as I walked into the room and got my camera out straight away and started snapping. I just knew it would make a fantastic photo.
"It was totally spontaneous - you couldn't set up that kind of shot. It was a case of being in the right place at the right time."
She entered the picture Help the Aged's 'Life Is...' competition after hearing about it from an old tutor and it was one of 54 to be exhibited at the Royal Academy.
Sarah said: "I've had an amazing response to the photo. People find it inspiring and uplifting. It's wonderful to know that one of my photos is being used to help others."
