Three photographers from the Western Daily Press have received recognition for their work in a regional competition.
Paul Gillis (left), Fran Stothard and Paul Stallard all scooped prizes in the annual Geoff Benger Memorial Awards.
The top prize in both the news and humour categories went to Paul Gillis.
Fran Stothard (left) picked up the honour of best features photograph with Paul Stallard (below) highly commended in the same category.
The competition was judged by Mike Cranmer, the former picture editor for Associated Press and the Sunday Times.
He said: "I had to choose from 250 photographs taken by 30 photographers, and they ranged from pictures of a steam train on a spring morning, to moving images of poverty in Romania.
"All the entries were of a very high standard and I was particularly pleased to see the continued use of black and white film."
